The Wonderful Herding Dog

Humanity has used herding dogs for a long period of human history since the Neolithic era more than 10,000 years ago. They were first used to gather animals on a hunt making it easier to kill game. Dogs have been bred for thousands of years as not just companions, but working animals.
Through breeding over thousands of years certain dogs have been associated with certain civilizations and cultures. It wasn't until the 19th century that such popular breeds have been so prolific. It was the British that began the practice of recording pedigrees of pets and livestock.
Breeding dogs have been trained over the ages using their predatory behavior as wild dogs and wolves and channeling it for herding.

Shoulder Holster Tips

Galco Kodiak Hunter model
When I was a limo driver I carried large quantities of cash, thus also carried a 9mm with a Bianchi leather skeleton holster. It was so comfortable I would forget it was there, balanced because on the right side there was a magazine holster. So with that experience, I pass on to readers some tips if you choose to use that style of conceal carry holster.
The standard carry position for this type of holster is the vertical position, which is the choice if you carry large frame automatics or “Dirty-Harry” style long-barrel revolvers. There are models also available with long-barrel scoped revolvers for hunters or custom holster for those who have laser-point systems.

Crooks and Liars Blog Lives Up To Its Name

Crooks and Liars is one website that practices what its name implies. When confronted with truth about their bias and racial comments about Allen West (after using profanity against me) they have blocked me out of commentary. They deem West as racist because he is against Obama policy; and especially that he is a member of the Tea Party movement; which defies both Democrat and Republican doctrine and promotion of acts against Constitution. In recent times the blog has joined in the hate fray of wrongfully denouncing our president, Donald Trump.

We The People Can Make America Great

We have a president who gets it - so let us not let this opportunity go to waste. Republicans should have repealed Obamacare entirely and they had eight years to put together a plan to make the healthcare issue better.
The healthcare system is as complex as the proposed fix now known infamously as “Obamacare”, created by legislation [Affordable Healthcare Act] that should never have passed, and when it did should have been put down by the so-called Justices of the US Supreme Court.
According to Health Care Reporter, Dan Mangan, published June 25th 2013, medical bills are the biggest cause of bankruptcy in the United States.

Democrat Party Slogan: "divide et impera"

Marxist Media is insisting that our president is "dividing the country". Let me clue them on something: for the previous eight years our country was clearly and decisively divided, despite the Obama campaign slogan of "unity". And when the Democrats promise "change" get the details. Our president says that "Fake News" is the enemy of the people - but the Democrats are behind that fake news, so the conclusion is so is the Democrat Party and RINOs.
This is what the Democrat Party is all about courtesy of Doug Ross ...

November 6th, 2018: VOTE!

If you haven't done so already - Vote today if you want a better Congress.

Sharia Law Has Taken Over Dearborn, Michigan

In the beginning of this video one would think that it was filmed in a foreign country. Despite our nation having a federal law against polygamy, they come here with more than one wife. This gives them an edge when they have found how lucrative our welfare system is. This video clearly shows there is a strain on our welfare system by people who refuse to assimilate. They came here to have a better life than their theocratic caliphate nation - but have insisted that system be introduced into our nation.

Time to stop their welfare, intolerance and stop turning our heads in their polygamy and draconian theocracy that is counter to our constitutional republic. If they want to have theocracy go back from whence they came.

HR25 "The Fair Tax Act of 2013" - Congress Needs to Act

NOTE: The Fair Tax Act was introduced in July 1999 (HR 2525). It has NEVER been moved from committee since then, despite being reintroduced in Congress ever since. In polls, even Democrats have agreed that it was a better tax system - but has been continually ignored by majority of Congress and presidents since 1999. President Bush stated he would "look into it", but never took any action to support it. So the dragging on about it is not partisan. The bill has been supported by leading economists and indeed helped create it in the first place. The standard tax rate would be fixed at 23%, however, depending upon spending rates and poverty levels some people will pay less through rebates.

What is "Kosher" Food?

Christmas ["Christ's Mass"] and Hanukkah is coming soon. Have you ever wondered what Kosher meat is or why some pickle jars have the words: Kosher Pickles printed on the label? Just what is Kosher?
Merriam-Webster dictionary -
1 a: sanctioned by Jewish law; especially : ritually fit for use like kosher meat.
b: selling or serving food ritually fit according to Jewish law, as a kosher restaurant.
2 being proper or acceptable, or satisfactory, as is the deal kosher?
It all has to do with Jewish dietary laws from the ancient text: Kashrut
The word is a Hebrew derivative of Kaf-Shin-Reish, which means fit, proper, or correct. Rabbis or religious officials do not bless food in order to make it kosher, as the urban legend goes. However, there are blessings that Jews observe and recite before food is eaten, just as Christians and Muslims do in certain tradition.

As a Congressional and State Election Approaches ...

On October 31st it will be Hallows' Eve, which we have come to know as Halloween; which is actually the night before what was the original celebration – All Saints' Day, the feast of All Hallows' Day, long forgotten in modern culture. In some cultures it is called All Soul's Day or Day of the Dead, echoes from history of a time when superstition reigned over common sense and knowledge – suppressed by an element of society that feared an educated society.
On November 6th, it will be what is called midterm congressional elections. If you did not participate in primary voting, you have relinquished the process of choosing candidates who will represent respective political parties, one from each traditional political club. If you ignored the importance of primary elections, the stigma of being forced to choose the 'lesser evil' candidate, which those traditions have mandated there be only two political factions: Democrats and Republicans.

Incrementally Democratic-Socialists Are Destroying What US Is All About

Since Hillary Clinton denounced the Electoral College some American Marxists followed suit.
As The Federalist’s David Harsanyi explains,
“The Electoral College isn’t ornamental; it exists to undercut the tyranny of direct democracy and ensure the entire nation is represented in national elections. When you attack it, you’re not condemning Trump, you are, in a very palpable way, attacking a core idea that girds much of our governance.”
The Electoral College was an ingenious method created by the Founders that was the key element in establishing a republic instead of a democracy. Now the indoctrinated youth in our country wants it to be eliminated. Of course they do because their handlers know that with it they cannot gain permanent power.

It has been already established that the despicable behavior of protesters at the Kavanaugh confirmation hearing from the beginning are being paid to do so.
How much is Soros funding going into the protest movement and anti-Kavanaugh movement.

Criticism of Wikipedia - "An Open Source Encyclopedia"

Wikipedia has been criticized as being bias and not reliable. I mostly see this cropping up in commentary on Facebook. But I feel that those people don't understand how it works and that while the Internet is the most extensive source of information ever devised, it must always be cross-referenced and sources checked, as well as the sources itself checked for reliability.
Wikipedia's content is mostly comprised of professionals and experts of a given topic who volunteer to provide information and knowledge about a particular subject in the vast world of the Internet where "information overload" can occur. People who criticize it do not understand how it works and how those monitoring Wikipedia ensure that sources are in place, and if not insert "citation is needed" or inserts "cross-reference required" in the text.

Random Thought: "Islamophobia"

Reason why the Progressive American Dictionary is so thick is they make up so many words in order to emphasize their Marxist political ideology.

Is·lam·o·pho·bi·a

(ĭs-lä′mə-fō′bē-ə)
n.
Fear, hatred, or mistrust of Muslims or of Islam.
If Islam is "peaceful" where are the outraged Muslims concerning Europe being overrun, bullied, raped and victims of violence because they are not Muslims?

Constitution Day - Law of the Land & The Republic

Today is Constitution Day, September 17th.
On September 17, 1787, delegates to the Constitutional Convention met to signed the document they worked so hard to create with much discussion and debate. It finally was officially the “law of the land” in 1789 and our first President George Washington was sworn in.

Constitution Day 17 September 2018 and the Kavanaugh Confirmation Hearings

September 17th 1787 was the day the Constitution of the United States was signed by delegates of the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia that was the seat of the government until Washington, DC was established. Copies were made and sent to state state legislatures for ratification.
It was a time when there were Federalists and Anti-Federalists, the Federalists being for the Constitution. The Federalist Papers were written as letters and sent to newspaper publishers and later were published into a book. The authors were James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, and John Jay.
Anti-Federalists included founders like George Mason, Patrick Henry, and Elbridge Gerry.
The law establishing this day as a national celebration occurred in 2004 after the passage of an amendment to Omnibus Spending Bill of 2004 authored by Senator Robert Byrd. It is also known as Citizenship Day. It is a legal holiday for public schools (those funded by federal government) declared by the Department of Education in 2005.
Iowa schools were the first to recognize Constitution Day in 1911. The Sons of the American Revolution formed a committee for it to be recognized nationally.

Pepperball - New Non-Lethal Projectile for Law Enforcement and Military

VKS PepperBall Launcher
PepperBall looks like paint balls, but are filled with a "proprietary"  [exclusive right] irritant that is effective 150 feet [50  yards] to be used for crowd control by law enforcement and military  personnel.
The VKS system looks like an AR15. It can feed PepperBalls from  either a magazine (10 or 15 rounds) or a hopper that sits atop  the launcher with 180 projectiles. The projectiles are .68 caliber in  size and comes in different ammo configurations, each with its own  color coding so the user knows what is what. The projectiles are packaged in plastic jars just like paint balls used in simulated war games by weekend warriors and their clubs.
VKS [Variable Kinetic System] has finalized a contract with the  U.S. Army for US Forces in Afghanistan. The VKS is made in the  USA and has been recommended  by members of the National Tactical Officers Association.

Labor Day - September 3rd 2018

According to Wikipedia
… Labor Day has been celebrated on the first Monday in September in the United States since the 1880s. … Today Labor Day is often regarded simply as a day of rest and, compared to the May 1 Labor Day celebrations (May Day) in most countries, parades, speeches or political demonstrations are more low-key, although especially in election years, events held by labor organizations often feature political themes and appearances by candidates for office. Forms of celebrations include picnics, barbecues, fireworks displays, water sports, and public art events.

Organized Labor in the United States

Activists Protest Supreme Court Decision On Corporate Political SpendingLabor Day weekend is arriving again. Here is history of organized labor that is called unions or trade unions. President Trump has done quite a lot to improve our economy and present more opportunities for Americans. However, the heroes are the every day folks who work diligently to support their families and make America productive - We the People.
During the 1850s, improving economic conditions led to the first national labor unions. The typesetters, iron molders, hat finishers, stone-cutters, and cigar makers all formed permanent groups. When the Civil War followed, labor shortages encouraged other groups to create their own unions. During and immediately after the war, railroad workers formed brotherhoods; locomotive engineers unionized in 1863, conductors in 1868, and firefighters in 1873. Other artisan professions joined in unions but fell victim to the industrial changes after the war. The Knights of St. Crispin started in 1867 as an association of shoemakers; the introduction of shoe-making machinery doomed the union to extinction within a decade.

Theodore Roosevelt: Hunter and Outdoorsman

Theodore Roosevelt was a dynamic person, whether he was a colonel leading the Rough Riders, a hunter and adventurer, or the President of the United States. The following is taken from the Autobiography of Theodore Roosevelt, an excerpt where he is found to be deserted by his mountain guide, but continues the hunt regardless …
...the only narrow escape I met with was not from one of these dangerous African animals, but from a grizzly bear. It was about twenty-four years ago. I had wounded the bear just at sunset, in a wood of lodge-pole pines, and, following him, I wounded him again, as he stood on the other side of a thicket. He then charged through the brush, coming with such speed and with such an irregular gait that, try as I would, I was not able to get the sight of the rifle on the brain-pan, though I hit him very hard with both the remaining barrels of my magazine Winchester.

What the "Democrat Party" Has Become and What Citizens Can Do About It

While the Republican Party is not without corrupted members, like those GOP politicians who “ride the fence” on issues and agenda, the Democrat Party has no doubt been so corrupted it must disband and start fresh in order to perform an actual reformation. RINOs (Republican In Name Only) like senators Jeff Flake (AZ), Lindsey Graham (SC), John McCain (AZ), Marco Rubio (FL) all members of the “Gang of Eight” who pushed to pass an amnesty bill for illegal invaders along with four Democrats are good examples. Fortunately while the bill passed the Senate thanks to the RINOs, it did not pass the House and expired at the end of the 113th Congress. What was needed is for the federal government to enforce immigration laws and stop the “anchor” law that invaders took advantage of, stop the “catch and release” method, and replace the useless fencing that separates Mexico from the United States.

Our Supreme Court is Important

The Federalists have retired into the Judiciary as a stronghold … and from that battery all the works of republicanism are to be beaten down and erased.” — Thomas Jefferson, 1803
Recent headlines concerning the US Supreme Court and its justices should be finally addressed. There are too many politicos who are justices – concerned with “interpretation” of the Constitution instead of its application to cases brought before the SCOTUS. While the President as executor nominates such positions, the Senate's duty is to confirm a nomination, and most importantly, do so without prejudice. Hopefully looking for a judge that has a record of constitutionalism. Unfortunately too many members of the Senate play politics more than performing their required task in a professional manner.
Members of the judiciary at all levels should technically be “independent” instead of affiliating with either Democrat or Republican parties.

Our First Lady Melania Trump

Our First Lady, Melania Trump was born in the Yugoslav Republic of Slovenia and worked in Milan and Paris as a model until she moved to New York City in 1996. In 2001 she became a permanent resident of the United States and married Donald Trump in 2005. She became a US citizen in 2006. She is the second Catholic First Lady since Jacqueline Kennedy. Melania is the second foreign-born woman to be a First Lady. The first was Louisa Adams, wife of John Quincy Adams, who was born in London to a father from Maryland and an English mother. HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!

Time for barbecuing and music [WBDK, 96.7 FM] and when the sun sets traditional fireworks – spending quality time with our family and friends.
This year the Peninsula Symphonic Band will provide music, it they don't get rained out before dusk fireworks begin - which also may be cancelled or postponed because of thunderstorms.
Yet, we must not forget what this day represents, especially today where our nation is on a threshold of a point where there may be no return back to the roots that made our country great and unique.
Yet amidst these gloomy events and circumstances there is hope, not based on socialism, but a constitutional republic created by men who were brave enough to stand upon principles and values that all humans should have.
It was on July 4th 1826 that both Thomas Jefferson and John Adams died on same day.

Independence Day Beverage Tip -- Use a melon scooper and make watermelon balls and then freeze them. Add to a glass of lemonade or tea instead of ice cubes.

HAPPY

YES! I AM A "TRUMPY"

In a discussion with a Progressive on social media the conversation ended with name calling because that is what they do when truth is placed before them and they realize they have no reputable source for their political stance other than what the media tells them and what the Democrat-Socialist and their complying RINOs want them to know.
I was referred to as a “Trumpy” - a new word to add to the American-English language that Progressive-Marxists take pride in reinventing language.
My answer was - “Yes, I am a Trumpy and proud of it”.
But I was not always a “Trumpy”.

We the People Must Take Responsibility and Act

This short essay is not directed to those voters who research political candidates, their political voting record (if available), and their personal and educational background. Not those voters who seek constitutionalists who are eager to serve the People, protect our constitutional republic, and know that a limited government with only legislation required to keep America great is what is needed. Not Marxism that has been proven NOT good for the People or a nation's well being.
This is directed to those who do not perform that which is required as a responsible citizen and voter. Those who think that the American people must be controlled by their elites who put everything into a neat box and chastise anyone who thinks outside of that box. Those that support the Democratic-Socialist movement that is everything what America should never be and those who choose to denounce our nation in their nonsensical politically correct form of socialism.

President Trump leads Memorial Day Service at Arlington

May 2018: Armed Forces Day and Memorial Day

Armed Forces Day is a day set aside to honor all those who are presently serving our nation.

Memorial Day is 28 May this year, a day set aside to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, buried home and abroad from the Revolutionary War to present.
PLEASE, do not insult a veteran who is remembering comrades who came home in coffins and wish him a "Happy Memorial Day". Veterans' Day is named so for a reason.
