YES! I AM A "TRUMPY"

In a discussion with a Progressive on social media the conversation ended with name calling because that is what they do when truth is placed before them and they realize they have no reputable source for their political stance other than what the media tells them and what the Democrat-Socialist and their complying RINOs want them to know.
I was referred to as a “Trumpy” - a new word to add to the American-English language that Progressive-Marxists take pride in reinventing language.
My answer was - “Yes, I am a Trumpy and proud of it”.
But I was not always a “Trumpy”.

I have made it a practice to put together a list of candidates running for office and performing a concise dossier on. This was no small task in 2016 because initially there were 11 candidates. The national election was easier to make a decision than the primary.

The last two “finalists” in my countdown list was Donald Trump and Ted Cruz - I voted in the primary election for Senator Ted Cruz. Reason: his words met his actions as a senator, thus he had a record where Mr. Trump did not. Both had similar ideas of how reformation could take place and how to fix that which is broken. But Cruz had the experience and his record not only matched his campaign rhetoric, but he took more time explaining why he wanted to perform those actions.
Candidate Trump lost in favor of candidate Cruz in primary election because: (1) he had no record to match his promises, (2) when referring to opponent Cruz he would just call him a liar with no explanation as to why, (3) his campaign staff orchestrated “character assassination” not just against Mr. Cruz, but his wife and father - allegations that were false and personal. The tabloids were running hot against Cruz. Senator Cruz was right in angrily denouncing false declamations against his father and cruelness toward the fact that his wife once had a minor breakdown. To further prove that Ted Cruz has character - although he did not claim support for Trump at the Republican Convention which he traditionally would have done - he has worked with him and supported Trump as president since his inauguration. It makes sense because their idea of how to operate a government and establish reform of the same coincide.
The fact that candidate Trump continually referred to Senator Cruz as a “liar” with no explanation or credible reason was a big thing against Trump. He was playing “dirty politics” that ended up coming back unto him as a Karma factor.
The Marxist media today is targeting our First Lady with absurd accusations, unfounded assumptions, and obvious made up stories. The Democrats (democratic-socialists) are trying to find some way to denounce President Trump and prove something that will cause impeachment hearings - all based on conjecture and outright lies. All of this Trump did as a primary election candidate against Senator Cruz, and while I am pleased with our president’s performance; it is something that is not forgivable especially when I have never heard he apologized to Senator Cruz and his family.
So, I voted for Senator Cruz (known) instead of Mr. Trump (unknown) in primary election.
Then Mr. Trump won the primary.
I then felt I must choose an unknown that believes in our nation, its people and the Constitution is what has made America “great” and what will continue to do so. No way would I ever vote for Hillary Clinton whose political record is full of scandals and incidents proving her ineptness.
Thankfully with great relief - Mr. Trump, as 45th President of the United States has proven that he is a man of his word. I also find it incredible that with all the distractions and obstructions orchestrated by the Democrat-Socialist and their Marxist media that he was able to be successful in so many things in such a short time. Anyone who knows him personally are astounded at this energy. Indeed, associates and those working for him have said that they have difficulty keeping up with him.
The moral of this story is ....
Voting is something that citizens are obligated to do. But voting responsibly is a key factor.
So many citizens complain about how our government is being operated, but fail to realize that the gist of the fault lies upon We the People who elected them.
We would find better people being elected if voters would take the time to make a “pro-and-con” list and do some serious research. The website On The Issues is an excellent way to find political records, remarks and actions taken by candidates.
Too many voters rely on media for their information as to who to vote for - which ends up with a populist being elected instead of someone right for the job. Yes, notice what is said in the media, but NEVER take if for granted to be accurate. I think FOX News is an overall good media source, but I have checked up on them as well.
And as I have said in many of my articles in this blog and others, don’t take my word for it - check it out. I encourage people to think and not rely upon emotion. It is what the Marxists are expert at employing as a tool in their agenda for control. We cannot help being passionate when it comes to our nation, especially as patriots; but we must temper the steel with logic, reasoning and common sense - most importantly truth.
Yes, I am a “Trumpy” and hopefully you will understand why. I also support constitutionalists and people of good character like Ted Cruz and Trey Gowdy - where reason, common sense and constitutional knowledge prevails. Working together with our president means that the following can be achieved:
–- Our border will be secured with a proper wall.
–- Immigration laws will be rewritten to eliminate loopholes and stop judicial nonsense.
–- Repeal and replace Obamacare with a logical program that will not counter the constitutional mandate of a limited government.
–- Simplify the tax system, but the best thing to do is get rid of income tax and replace it with a consumption tax via the Fair Tax Act. A great task because the 16th Amendment must be simultaneously repealed.
— Reduce obtrusive and useless regulations.
— Trim down agencies and departments, some being eliminated and actively seek to prevent costly waste and fraud.
And so much more.
I am a Trumpy because we have a president that believes we can be better than what we have become as a nation and a people. His plans has proven to be successful. So truly, why would anyone be so hateful against him?
I don’t agree with his decision to create a sixth branch of our armed forces called “Space Force” when we already have a special unit in the USAF called “Space Command”. But that does not mean I do not discount our president’s success nor does it mean I will discontinue my support.
I was happily surprised that he was a man of his word - his background not giving me much anticipation. I am relieved that we have a president we have needed for some time since Ronald Reagan.
So if you call me a “Trumpy” - I will only take it as a compliment.
