 Just as interested in Roman, Celtic, and Norse history as I am in Egyptology and wrote one book concerning the historic Roman city of Ephesus, [American in Ephesus: History of an Immortal City], I set out to write a brief article about the architectural achievement known as Hadrian’s Wall. 

Hadrian’s Wall [Vallum Hadriani] was a defensive barrier built in 122. It is 73 miles [120 km] long running from coast to coast. The wall not just provided a defensive barrier but also marked the northern boundary of the Roman Empire to deter invasion of the Picts in Scotland.

TRIBUTE TO HEDY LAMARR - BEAUTY AND BRAINS

Hailed as one of the great movie actresses of all time, Hedy Lamarr was born as Hedwig Eva Maria Kiesler on November 9^th, 1914 in Vienna, Austria to a Galician-Jewish father from Ukraine and was deputy director of Wiener Bankverein and her mother, Trude, who was a pianist from Budapest and an upper-class Hungarian-Jewish family. Trude Kiesler converted to Catholicism and raised Hedy as a Christian, although she was not baptized. At the age of 12, Hedy won a beauty contest in Vienna. She also became interested in invention with her father who would also take her on walks, explaining how different technology was used.

SHOULD SOCIAL SECURITY BE PRIVATIZED?

In a recent news report made by the Washington Examiner, it reports that General Mark Milley stated: “The message is the Chinese military, in the air and at sea, have become significantly more and noticeably more aggressive in this particular region.” It was a remark that is an understatement.

This is the general who allegedly as the 45^th President's military advisor promised a general of the People's Liberation Army that he would warn him if Trump decided to launch an attack. It was suppose to be part of unauthorized video calls that Milley denies made with the Chinese general. 

WHAT IF ALL CARS WERE ELECTRIC?

 

If all vehicles produced in the United States became electric, petroleum and natural gas would still be used at some capacity. In addition, there would still be weather and climate anomalies. So all of this misery would be for naught because the climate alarmists and the controlling globalists, scientists and politicians would have been proven wrong about “greenhouse gases” that they have included to be CO₂ which the latter causes the air to become colder. The stress upon the electric grid would require more coal and natural gas.

ESTHER WILLIAMS - THE MILLION DOLLAR MERMAID

 

ESTHER JANE WILLIAMS (1921-2013) was an American competition swimmer and actress. In her teens she set regional and national records as a team member of the Los Angeles Athletics Club. Because of the outbreak of WW2 in 1940, she was unable to compete in the 1940 Summer Olympics so she joined Billy Rose Aquacade. She was replacing a role vacated by Eleanor Holm after the show moved from San Francisco to New York City. While there she spent five months swimming alongside of Olympic gold-medal winner, Johnny Weissmuller of Tarzan film series.

Every year from 1945 to 1949, Esther made at least one film that became part of the 20 highest-grossing films of that year. In 1952, Esther was cast in a biographical role as Australian swimming star Annette Kellerman in the film Million Dollar Mermaid, which became her nickname while she had a contract with MGM. Esther left MGM in 1956 and appeared in several unsuccessful feature films, followed by several popular water-themed network television specials from Cypress Gardens, Florida.

CLIMATE CHANGE - WHAT IS IT REALLY ALL ABOUT?

  We have been told for about two decades that humans must change their ways, their habits, when it comes to “fossil” fuels (petroleum is NOT produced from ‘fossils’) or else our Earth will be scorched and die. Then when the predicted “scorching” did not occur - they changed the description from “global warming” to “global climate change”. That is what Marxists do - they change vocabulary, culture, society, academia to fit their agenda. 

Scientists who are affiliated to politics in order to retain their funding, politicians who see that a crisis (real or imagined) can be to their advantage, and activists who are too blind to see they are being manipulated by a false doctrine in order for the globalists who seek to control all of the above while establishing a “New World Order” where a central governing unit commands nations on Earth. And all of this has been employed by a dishonest media that has been infiltrated by indoctrinated Marxists and social engineers into our education system. Karl Marx, author of the “Communist Manifesto” knew this and more of how to first convince people and then control them, eventually controlling an entire nation that can be spread across the globe. 

JAMES "JIMMY" STEWART - ACTOR, PATRIOT AND LIVED A LONG WONDERFUL LIFE

HOME BREW - HISTORY OF FERMENTED BEVERAGES

ANCIENT EGYPTIAN TOMB BEER MAKING SCENE

Archaeological evidence shows that fermented beverages, in this case beer, emerged during the development of cereal agriculture (wheat, barley, etc.) 12,000 years ago. Where it originated is still a mystery. Historians believe that fermented beverages was brewed around 7,000 BC in china in the village of Jiahu. Neolithic pottery showed evidence of a mead-type of brew made from rice, honey and fruit. The first barley beer was most likely originated in the Middle East around 5,000 years ago by the Sumerians of Mesopotamia. An 1800 BC hymn for the Sumerian goddess of beer describes a recipe for the ancient brew by a female priestess. Beer then became popular and most importantly it was safer than drinking water from nearby canals and rives because of animal waste contamination. Beer consumption was also popular with Babylonians. The Code of Hammurabi, a collection of ancient laws decreed that a daily ration of beer was to be provided to citizens. Laborers received two liters per day, while priests and administrators received five liters. The beer was unfiltered so sediment would gather at the bottom of the drinking vessels, which prompted invention of a special drinking straw to avoid the sediment.
