Christmas: It is about Caring and its 'Ripple' Effect

"A simple act of caring creates an endless ripple"
One of my favorite Christmas songs is If Everyday Could Be Christmas. This video was about a birthday present, but it represents the spirit of Christmas, which should be the spirit 365 days.
To pass on good will and have the spirit of Christmas, one need not be a Christian or possess belief in any religion. It falls under the ancient golden rule, of which was encouraged by an influential person by the name of Jesus of Nazareth:
Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. - [Book of Matthew 7:12]
The birth of that same person is honored and continues many centuries later on a day called Christmas (Crissmas).

Feeling Lucky? Today is Friday the 13th

"Researchers estimate that at least 10 percent of the U.S. population has a fear of the number 13, and each year the even more specific fear of Friday the 13, known as paraskevidekatriaphobia, results in financial losses in excess of $800 million annually, as people avoid marrying, traveling or in the most severe cases, even working." A Satirical Look of the Evolution of Christmas

In the Victorian era parlor games were the fashion, conducted of course in a room named the "parlor" that could be found in middle-class and wealthy homes as a place to entertain guests.
One of the games was where the guests and hosts would sit in chairs in a circle and one person made up a phrase to whisper to the person to the left or right of them and then repeat it until the last person received the phrase who would repeat what was heard out loud. Invariably the phrase was quite different from what the first person passed on and that person spoke the original phrase out loud to compare to the result of passing it on.
The concept of the game was based upon the phenomenon known as gossip. If you live in a county or community such as where I live, you know how gossip works - much like the Victorian parlor game.

Democrats Know No "Line of Demarcation"

During the presidency of Ronald Reagan I was a professional soldier, and I saw how he and Margaret Thatcher were obstinate in bringing down communism and freeing people from the yoke of Marxism; and thus I predicted that the Berlin Wall would finally come down and the Soviet Union would fail economically.
Yet with all those proven principles against Marxism, We the People through apathy and satisfied in being the "silent majority" we allowed Marxism and social engineering to creep into our educational system. The Democrats chose their path and created their agenda thinking they had a system based on Marxism that works and began with calling it democracy, but in fact it was a road to socialism and pushed it with the premise that democratic socialism would be more successful that history has shown what Marxism can do to a nation.

Democracy? NO! Republic! "Just Holiday"? NO! Christmas!

With Democrats it is a war with words in order to change meaning and concepts. There is a definite Marxist agenda in that which they push on real Americans - "political correctness" it has become known to be. And being the Marxists they are, they have polluted American youth's minds, "dumbing down" and turning their brains into mush. The result is what we see on today's campus where they must be heard, but no one else because they need their "safe zone". Safe to intimidate and use "peer pressure" on any student or students who dare actually think, think for themselves, not follow the consensus, and actually ask questions.
“Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence.” — John Adams

PragerU Video: What's the Truth of Thanksgiving

The Democrat-Socialists have been altering our history to match their social justice Marxist ideologies and it is time to stop them from destroying the truth of our heritage and traditions.

Thanksgiving History and Traditions

Thanksgiving began as part of the religion of the English colonists (who had emigrated to Holland because of religious persecution) called Pilgrims who made thanksgiving prayers a part of their religious ceremonies. It was days of prayer, not just feasting.
Contrary to belief, the first thanksgiving feast with Native Americans occurred by a spontaneous desire to celebrate and give thanks for their lifesaving harvest. The local natives had played a big part in their survival of that first winter in 1620. The colonists had landed in December at the beginning of winter, and although they had provisions, there wasn't any harvest of crops to store. Actually, it was poor planning by the London Stock Company that had financed the expedition to found a settlement.

American's Guide to Responsible Voting

Let me begin by saying that too many times I have found myself voting for the "lesser evil", especially when it comes to presidential elections. An example would be that when George W. Bush ran for the primary, I did not vote for him. But when it came to the national election, I was forced to apply choosing the lesser evil.
Voters can find themselves frustrated that the candidates running are not a sure thing or collection of worthless politicians. This is seems more true of presidential candidates and members of Congress that seek reelection for the umpteenth time. Americans should be ringing the phones off the hook & filling members of Congress mail boxes with demands for term limits. What Congress thought was a good amendment to the Constitution in limiting terms of presidents - it is equally important that Congress have term limitations. And even if Congress does not limit terms, the policy of providing members of Congress with pensions after two-four terms is not acceptable. Retirement benefits should only be relegated to government employees and those employees must invest in that retirement program like the rest of us. Just as trade unions should NEVER be allowed to control government employment - that is the job of the legislative & executive branch.

Time To Repeal Ethanol Mandate & Subsidies

Ethanol is not what the government and ethanol producers told it was to be. "End the Ethanol Rip-Off," wrote author Robert Bryce in The New York Times is more bother than it is worth. In addition, it has caused the price of food to go up like meat because corn is used to feed poultry and cattle. Senator Cruz has been trying to ditch the Ethanol rip-off since its inception as government fuel additive mandate.
President Trump has been deregulating to lesson government intrusion and prevent extra cost to taxpayers, but has not addressed as of yet this Ethanol problem that Senator Cruz has been crusading against.

Yes, Greta Thunberg - How Dare YOU!

Yes, Greta, "How Dare You" put on such a rude, hateful performance concerning something as fantasful as your message.
By now just about everyone knows Greta Thunberg, a spoiled child of an opera singer and actor who has played hooky from school to chastise everyone over 30 that they have caused the death of Earth and its inhabitants whose prophecy date keeps changing like the prophecy of the Book of Revelations. Here angry ugly face will become plastered in the memory of many to include the photo of her disrespectful look at our President as he entered the area where he would give a memorial speech.

A message from the 'Boomer' generation that this generation is protesting against and wailing that the world is ending because of their “carbon footprint” that is destroying the Earth via a natural process called “climate” that has altered constantly over centuries from an unnamed person in the United Kingdom (England), once called Great Britain until it became politically incorrect, and a member of the "Baby Boom" generation.

Why A Republic?

Nations are made up of people, governments are supposed to be operated by people chosen by the people. The Founders created a republic for a reason. Since they were educated in the classics, they understood that democracy always turns into something else, especially when it is direct democracy or 'pure' democracy. Even the creator of Marxism understood this, as well as the infamous communist, Lenin.
Our nation's political climate began with two factions – Federalist and Anti-Federalists. Later these became political parties and developed into what the main parties are today – Democrat and Republican. Today, the Democrat Party has come to full circle and has shown that the Founders were correct and so was Karl Marx.

The Ominous Friday the 13th is also Harvest Moon Rise

Today is Friday, 13th of September - a day that has been considered bad luck for a very long time.
Do you know why?
It is also when the Harvest Moon rises for most of the United States.
Some people believe the number 13 in itself is bad luck because Judas, a disciple of Jesus of Nazareth, was the 13th disciple.
Some historians believe the number 13th was considered unlucky as far back as when the Code of Hammurabi was created. It originally was to be 13 rules in the code, but someone omitted it to make it 12.
But a long time ago, a horrible injustice occurred on a Friday the 13th. It involved the Knights of the Order of Templar who fought bravely during the Crusades and was a unit dedicated to the Pope.

Why is the AR-15 Considered the 'Weapon of Choice' for Mass Shooters?

All mass shooters have used either semi-auto handguns or rifles or both. Magazine capacities varied. AR-15s are not the only semi-auto rifles manufactured or used; but it shows up more because they are, according to statistic, the "weapon of choice" to firearm owners. Anti-gun folks say it is because it is a semi-auto version of the US military weapon that is used extensively around the world. One of the reasons why the AR-15 is so popular is that it is easy to disassemble & assemble for cleaning and little maintenance is required. Another feature is that the AR-15 can be altered with custom stocks (butt & fore-end), high-quality bolts, and standard models of 5.56mm (.203 caliber) are relatively inexpensive - but not qualified for hunting big game. In recent years that has changed because now manufacturers offer the AR-15 in a wide variety of calibers, 6.5 Creedmoor for big game hunters and long-range competition shooters and even the Russian & Chinese AK caliber of 7.62x39mm which makes it competition against the AK rifle.

Robert Mueller May Be Guilty of Saudi/911 Cover-up

Judicial Watch has been on this case for some time. The head of the Russian Collusion Inquisition, Robert Mueller, was head of the FBI during Bush administration that put road blocks in place even as his agents were investigating ties with 911 attack and Saudi Arabia.
What evidence his agents did manage to uncover, according to the 9/11 lawsuit against the Saudis, Mueller buried.

This Is Not The American Way - Time For Reform

For eight years Barack Obama was president. Despite his ineptness and his administration filled with crooks - did you ever read about or see on video news opponents of President Obama and his most scandalous administration in history be physically attacked or barred from a college campus for displaying support of Obama? The legacy of Obama is that he accelerated the Marxist movement and subversion via Islamic fascists of our homeland.
But not the case of our president, Mr. Trump and his supporters, as this college student found out:
For those of you who falsely hate our president, believing the lies that the Marxist media and Democrat-Socialists are saying and portraying, think of this comparison I just made.

Our Republic Is At A Crossroad

The "Liberals" who have moved to being "Progressives" want "change" in our nation, and they do not have the foresight our Founders had in determining if a change is necessary and beneficial.
Too many young Americans are accepting and promoting Marxism, an ideology that is made up of both socialism and communism. In the Marxist concept, socialism is the transition state of Marxism that overthrows capitalism which in turn ushers in communism. It threatens our Republic that the Founders so diligently & patiently created that is a republic with democratic principles that are not self-destructive. The key element in our Constitution that makes our Republic unique is the Electoral College clause that prevents rule of the mob that has been demonstrated by democracy that began when the Athenians in ancient Greece adopted it.
“The difference between communism and socialism is that under socialism central planning ends with a gun in your face, whereas under communism central planning begins with a gun in your face.”. ― Kevin D. Williamson, The Politically Incorrect Guide to Socialism.

United States and United Kingdom

It is my contention that the people of the United Kingdom, the British, made a good decision voting to leave the European Union. Indeed, when the British Isles (Britannia or Britain) made the decision to become a United Kingdom, it was a good idea and historic moment. It was also an opportunity to use our Constitution as a role model to reform the government of the United Kingdom. Using our Constitution as a model, the former Great Britain could truly be a united kingdom and with their own Bill of Rights establish a more unified government where Ireland (North & Republic of Ireland), England, Scotland, and Wales would set up under a federal government in London where those countries would be set up like the 50 states of our Union. Like our Founders, they could glean the best of our system and pay heed to mistakes made in the United States.

Every American Can Serve, Every American is Essential

I have been approached by fellow Americans, whether it be Veteran's Day or not, who thank me for my service.
It is a mixed feeling, partly embarrassment because I was just doing my job I was sworn an oath to do, and I don't like being singled out like I am some sort of hero. I certainly appreciate their kindness and appreciation.
It is disconcerting to me that some of those people admonish themselves for not serving in the military. I try to tell them that everyone can "serve" in some capacity or manner.

New Book Published

“I consider the foundation of the Constitution as laid on this ground that ‘all powers not delegated to the United States, by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states or to the people.’ To take a single step beyond the boundaries thus specially drawn around the powers of Congress, is to take possession of a boundless field of power, not longer susceptible of any definition.” —Thomas Jefferson (1791)

Sweden: Christian Family Flees to Poland

Why are Christians not afforded the same sensibilities Muslims get?

Sweden: Christian Family Flees to Poland after State Turns His Daughters Over to Muslim Family

I think the gist of it is that people just want to appease Muslims because they are cowards to stand up to them. Christians do not have a violent doctrine to match Islam; yet Christians are seen as a threat while Muslims are not.

"Angry White Males" College Course - Testament for Education Reform

Our educational institutions need serious reform. This is one example that shows our educational institutions have become Marxist indoctrination centers and social engineering laboratories. What does such a course do as far as preparing students for careers and curriculum that is useless.
This is the kind of curriculum that young Marxists, indoctrinated with our tax money and student loans, want to have YOU pay for.

Saint Patrick's Day: March 17th Until 2060

Saint Patrick's Day, celebrated on March 17th, in the dioceses of Ireland it is a solemn and holy day of obligation and is officially called Saint Patrick's Feast Day. The original color associated with Saint Patrick was blue, but over time the color association changed to green and green ribbons and shamrocks were worn in celebration of the day was early as the 17th century. The phrase “the wearing of the green”, which means wearing a green shamrock on clothing comes from a song of the same name.
Saint Patrick is a national day in Ireland, but Irish in Europe have been celebrating it since the 9th century; and later became known as the patron of Ireland. The Feast Day was officially listed in the liturgical calender in the Catholic Church, influenced by Luke Wadding, a Franciscan scholar in the early 17th century. A solemn ceremony in the Roman Catholic Church, it is a great feast day in the Church of Ireland

It is Not the Firearms - It is What the People Have Become

Easter - Evergreen Street
I was between six and eight years of age, living on a street called "Evergreen" about two blocks from Humboldt Park. A neighbor kid, older than me, decided to play "Indian" with his new toy bow and arrow. The wooden arrow had a rubber suction-cup at the end. Problem was he had previously removed the rubber cup at the end and sharpened the end of the wooden arrow's shaft with a pocket knife. By sharpening the end it changed the diameter of the wood which made the rubber cup fit too loosely. As I approached he drew back the bow and let loose the arrow aiming for my chest. It was a weird moment because it seemed that time had suddenly slowed. I saw the arrow flying through the air which was faster than what I was seeing with my eyes and my brain conceiving it, and in midair the rubber cup fell off and the sharpened wood arrow struck me in the chest just below the collar bone. And there, much to my shock and I guess the kid's, an arrow is sticking into my chest and the weight of it (because it did not go deeply) it hung there. After removing it, and I don't remember the details whether I went up to our apartment to announce that I had been shot by an arrow and how it happened - my father came storming down to the sidewalk and by that time the kid had run home realizing the stupid thing he did, standing with his father. My father said some angry words, pointing to the superficial wound on my chest, yelling something to the effect how stupid his kid was, grabbed the bow from the shocked kid's hands and broke it into pieces. It was the end of that drama. I never held a grudge against the kid, but it seemed not long after the family wasn't there anymore.

Phenomenology of [World] Religion Now Condensed Edition

My three-volume book series is now offered in a condensed one-volume edition. Readers save $10 by ordering the condensed version at Amazon.

In the past, attempts have been made to discover an essential ingredient in all religions by contrasting the sacred and the profane, and the cultural and historical relationship to the development of humans on this world. These historical and theological studies have been difficult to pursue because of the wide variety of religions and cultures of human kind across the planet. For example, worship is typical of all religions, but it is not essential and neither is it easily categorized, and therefore it cannot be cross examined. This is a condensed version combining three volumes into one book with updates and corrections.
