Too many young Americans are accepting and promoting Marxism, an ideology that is made up of both socialism and communism. In the Marxist concept, socialism is the transition state of Marxism that overthrows capitalism which in turn ushers in communism. It threatens our Republic that the Founders so diligently & patiently created that is a republic with democratic principles that are not self-destructive. The key element in our Constitution that makes our Republic unique is the Electoral College clause that prevents rule of the mob that has been demonstrated by democracy that began when the Athenians in ancient Greece adopted it.
“The difference between communism and socialism is that under socialism central planning ends with a gun in your face, whereas under communism central planning begins with a gun in your face.”.― Kevin D. Williamson, The Politically Incorrect Guide to Socialism.
One may question why so many young Americans are turning towards the false utopia of Marxism? It is because, beginning in late 1960s, our colleges & universities have been infiltrated by Marxists. Many major protests in early 1970s was financed by communists overseas. They are using the sociological tool that is in the Marxist handbook on how to control the populace by indoctrinating children from toddler age promoted by Karl Marx:
“The education of all children, from the moment that they can get along without a mother's care, shall be in state institutions.” — Karl Marx
The second factor of this phenomenon is that the family nucleus has been disintegrating since that time period of 1970s, and this was enacted by the Democrat Party who promoted single-parent child rearing and provided a negative attitude to marriage in general. And through the transition of the DNC into democratic socialism that they pass off as a "new and revised" aspect of Marxism. They have been advertising utopia ever since, claiming to be the friend of the "working class" when the democratic ruling class are generally the wealthiest in federal government and their policies have proven to be the opposite. Examine any city or state that has economic & social problems and you will see that the Democrats have been in control for some time, enough time to ruin lives and communities. I do not want to appear to believe that the Republican Party is a perfect organization, because it definitely is not. But those idiosyncrasies throughout political history pale in comparison to the history of the Democrat Party that has finally culminated into Marxism. The fault of the new generation of American youth considered to be the "lost generation" is not just upon the Democrat entity, but on the shoulders of parents. I realize that there are parents who follow the principles of good parenting, earnestly pointing their children in the right direction and that one of them will choose a wrong path reaching adulthood. Generally, parents are more concerned about being friends with their children and using their energy to deter old age (unsuccessfully), so instead of being role models, they garnish a youthful attitude instead of taking advantage of experience obtained in adulthood.
The third factor is political correctness, "PC". This phenomenon has been around too long, where people who prefer common sense and logic thought it was just a social phase. It wasn't. It is a socio-political tool of the American Marxist, once again falling upon the principles of Karl Marx.
The danger against our Republic also comes in the form of a theocracy of Islam that should have died out in the Age of Reformation and Age of Reason, like Christian theocracy. It was the key reason why Founders separated religion from government in the sense that our government cannot (and should not) promote any religion by declaring a state religion. The First Amendment also decrees that people have the right to express and exercise their religious beliefs. It does not say that any religion can be intolerant while demanding tolerance, nor that our society and government must conform to that religious doctrine, which effectively points toward being a theocracy. Islam law is both religious and civil (Sharia Law) and does not belong in any free society, especially our United States. Part of this problem is that immigrants are not required to assimilate into our society accepting our heritage, traditions and rule of law. It is especially important that immigrants who come here intend to become Americans - meaning loyalty to fellow Americans and the Constitution as well as respecting our national anthem and symbolism of our flag.
We the People and members of our state and federal government in the executive, judicial and legislative branches must always address issues; but never discredit our nation and have an anti-American attitude in the form of an apologist as we have seen in recent history.
Our Preamble to the Constitution of the United States refers to our homeland as a "more perfect union" ...
"We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of ..."However, no form of government is perfect or ever will be - but our constitutional republic form of government is pretty close. Amendments were set up by Founders so additions, changes and even deletions could be made to the base of the Constitution. Important changes include ending slavery, all American citizens having the right to vote (begun by the Suffrage Movement), and the Civil Rights Act (which is not an amendment, but a law).
Youth today and their Marxist handlers don't want to make changes because there needs to be, but because changes are good emotional satisfactions rather than needed and those that are intent upon controlling the populace.
The 2020 election year is going to be an important "crossroad" and will determine whether our Republic will survive or the American Marxists and theocratic fundamentalists are going to win and then rights and liberties enjoyed since 1776 will disintegrate quickly.
In a final thought ... the Democratic Socialists have been appeasing and supporting the Islamic movement that is backed by the very entity for which our troops are fighting against, in example, the Muslim Brotherhood, embedded in USA via entities like CAIR. We the People, especially those in our government, have not used the European model as a warning of how Islamic subversion and gaining control can destroy our homeland. For example, the UK (Britain) has not payed attention to lessons learned from their own history - when Chamberlain tried to appease Hitler & Nazi Germany with a treaty that Hitler soon broke once strength was achieved to take control.
You as a voter have a great responsibility. As the old knight in the Indiana Jones film stated: "Choose wisely". Do your research on every candidate and do not choose because of populism, but by character, personal and political record, and whether actions match their words. Above all, choose constitutionalists. Political parties help fund candidates, but in the end we vote for the individual. This principle is important whether you are voting for a member of your town council or the President of the United States.
Let's Keep America Great - give President Trump the opportunity to continue his task to make it so and rid Congress of the vermin that would destroy what made the US great because they want absolute power. We should make our nation a role model again instead of appeasing doctrine and ideology that history has proven to be detrimental to the People and destructive to any nation.
