WHEELS OF JUSTICE OR SCAPEGOATS FOR THE MOB?

George Floyd became a martyr for BLM movement.

Was George Floyd a martyr, as the mob has depicted him? Or was George Floyd a career criminal who died resisting arrest with an underlying medical condition and filled with illegal substances?

This is an example of government being ruled by the mob (democracy) instead of by rule of law (republic), the latter of which the Founders intended.

Democracy, standing alone, cannot create the delicate balances needed among all these competing interests. Thus, our Constitution creates something better. Our system is a blend of democracy (self-governance), republicanism (deliberation and compromise), and federalism (state-by-state action). Power is separated among three branches of government. Moreover, power is divided between the states and the national government. Even more power is left to the people themselves! The Constitution requires super-majorities to take some actions, such as to amend the Constitution or to override a presidential veto. And we have an Electoral College.” — Tara Ross, 2022

Our justice system has been systematically corrupted since the FDR administration, and the corrupted media ("press") has followed in a parallel path along with the Democrat Marxist agenda.

George Floyd

Was the George Floyd case an iconic example of the "wheels of justice" - or was Derek Chauvin a victim of "mob" vengeance, a scapegoat for the race-baiting Leftists?

The Minneapolis Police Officer, Derek Chauvin, where a jury, consisting of six white people and six people of color, found Chauvin guilty on three counts: unintentional second-degree murder; third-degree murder; and second-degree manslaughter of George Floyd. He should have, after pleading guilty of “unreasonable use of force”, been convicted of only second-degree manslaughter because he created a risk upon George Floyd's health after Floyd resisted arrest by refusing to get into the police car after he was handcuffed. But because Chauvin was Caucasian (“White”) and Floyd was a Negro (“Black”) it became a racial issue, not that there was any evidence supporting that assumption.

The scenario leading to George Floyd's death – the truth, not what the mob contrived.

It all started on May 25th, 2020, when 46-year-old George Perry Floyd Jr, purchased a pack of cigarettes with an alleged counterfeit $20 bill. The clerk called 911 and officers who arrived on the scene, found Floyd and two others sitting in a car, parked around the corner of the food store. Initially resisting after officers approached the vehicle, BBC reported Floyd calmed down and began to comply with officers. But when officers tried to place him in a squad car, he became “combative” once again. Floyd complained he was claustrophobic and fell to the ground, despite having just been extracted from a vehicle (why wasn't he too claustrophobic to be in vehicle he was driving). At this time, Officer Derek Michael Chauvin arrived on the scene. He assisted the officers with getting Floyd on his feet after he had thrown himself to the ground. While trying to get Floyd into the squad car, Floyd pulled away (that part was seen on video tape) from the vehicle, which caused him to fall to the ground. While on the ground and in order to restrain Floyd because he had resisted being put into squad car under arrest, Chauvin placed his knee on Floyd's neck reportedly for nine minutes. Reports and a video showed that George Floyd pleaded with officer to remove his knee from his neck, saying “I can't breathe”.

It was reported that Officer Chauvin then told him “stop talking, yellingit takes a heck of a lot of oxygen to talk.” Within six minutes, Floyd was unresponsive. An ambulance was called and showed up during this time and upon arriving at the Hennepin County Medical Center, Floyd was pronounced dead.

There was video footage of the incident filmed by witnesses on the scene, who shared it on social media.

The time period of Chauvin placing his knee on Floyd's neck seemed too long. The autopsy report revealed that George Floyd had a history of drug use as well as a heart condition; which they determined “contributed to his death.”

The press release provided by the medical examiner revealed that the cause of Floyd's death was “Cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual, restraint, and neck compression” and that the manner of death was “homicide”. Pathologist Andrew Baker, M.D., confirmed the report.

In the full autopsy report, Dr. Baker noted that George Floyd had blunt force injuries to his elbows, forehead, face, hands, legs, lips, and shoulders as well as abraded contusions on his wrists caused by the handcuffs. Floyd had a broken rib from the performance of CPR in the ambulance.

The autopsy stated by Dr. Baker that Floyd had a number of pre-existing medical conditions that included severe and multi-focal arteriosclerotic heart disease, hypertensive heart disease, and a tumor in the left portion of his pelvis, which Baker concluded was an extra-adrenal paraganglioma. Dr. Baker also confirmed that George Floyd had COVID-19 at the time of his death.

The toxicology report revealed that he had fentanyl, methamphetamine, and THC in his blood at time of death. A second autopsy conducted by an independent medical examiner hired by Floyd's family concluded that George's death was homicide. However, the second autopsy listed the cause of death as “asphyxiation from sustained pressure” on his neck. This is what was presented at Chauvin's trial and what CNN (not known for objective reporting and misinformed reporting) reported.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner disputed the conclusion of the independent medical examiner by stating there he was “unable to find any evidence to support a diagnosis of traumatic asphyxia or strangulation.” Both reports agreed that the specific cause of the death of George Floyd was Derek Chauvin's method of restraint being a significant factor and the the manner of death was deemed homicide.

Thus, Derek Chauvin was arrested, charged, and convicted of second-degree murder, third-degree murder, and second-degree manslaughter. How he could be charged with two degrees of homicide (“murder”) is beyond me. According to AP News, Chauvin was sentenced to 22.5 years in prison. The recommended sentence of said charges is 12.5 years, but Judge Peter Cahill sought a harsher sentence claiming that Chauvin had enacted “abuse of a position of trust and authority and also the particular cruelty.” In a separate case, Chauvin had pleaded guilty to federal charges of violating Floyd's civil rights, which may be why Judge Cahill extended Chauvin's sentence from 12.5 years to 22.5 years.

Now the four officers involved in the George Floyd incident are to be on trial for violating George Floyd's civil rights during that fateful arrest in May of 2020. All four former Minneapolis police officers have pleaded not guilty. Governor Waltz of Minnesota has called upon the National Guard to assist law enforcement to safeguard the trail proceedings and prevent violence. (“the mob”)

Proof of manslaughter - yes. Proof of willful murder in any degree - NO. Civil Rights violation - doubtful.

Moral of this story is - if you are arrested and ordered to get into a squad car to be taken to police station for booking - COMPLY and call a lawyer.

The Floyd case signifies the growth of "Liberal" Judges and a judiciary system that glorifies the criminal and ignores their victims. BLM has instituted a culture and rhetoric of a society where ALL law enforcement officers are "racist" and ALL "White" people (Caucasians) have an underlying genetic disorder that makes them "racist". One word - insanity. It is a new form of racism instigated by the corrupt Democrats.

Derek Chauvin was indeed guilty of prolonged use of force that caused the death of George Floyd, but certainly no evidence pointed to a willful act to commit murder. This is an example of social justice, where the jury and the judge decided that Chauvin would be convicted of murder and instead of 10-12 years in prison, he is now serving a 22.5 year sentence. The difference between social justice and justice under the rule of law is clear. It was all about appeasing the mob outside the courtroom and preventing mob violence, a mob who relies upon emotion instead of reason - and how the Democrats use this phenomenon to further their corruption and retain their power. Derek Chauvin pleaded guilty of violating the civil rights of George Floyd and should have attempted to put him in the squad car instead of holding him to the ground with his knee for nine minutes. He was subdued and there was no need to continue to perform the act he did.

The news release concerning four officers on trial is what prompted me to write this article.
