When it comes to analyzing the Democrat(ic) Party, Ronald Reagan said it best when he was asked why he ditched the Democrats for the Republicans:
“I didn’t leave the Democratic party, the Democratic Party left me.”
While the Republican Party has had its share of scandals throughout American political history, it cannot hold a candle to the long history of corruption of the Democratic Party.
In 2016, Dinesh D'Souza published and made several videos concerning the dark history of the Democratic Party that has falsely claimed to be the “working class” champion. As he wrote in 2016 in a special article sponsored by FOX News:
“Contrary to what we learn from progressives in education and the media, the history of the Democratic Party well into the twentieth century is a virtually uninterrupted history of thievery, corruption and bigotry.”
“Progressives” is what used to be “Liberals”, a term used extensively by Hillary Clinton to describe Democratic Party supporters who knowingly or by ignorance are following the progression of Democrats into Marxism now openly are being referred to as “Democratic Socialists” as though they have invented a new breed and better ideology of Marxism.
Despite what Democrat educators and Marxist Media pundits would have anyone believe, Andrew Jackson was the founder of the Democratic Party – NOT Thomas Jefferson or FDR. Jackson might have been a War of 1812 hero, but he was a typical Southern racist who owned slaves and a deep hatred for Native Americans. He stole land from the Cherokee (“Trail of Tears”) and sold that land at cheap prices to Caucasian settlers.
As Dinesh D'Souza put it:
“Jackson also figured out how to benefit personally from his land-stealing. Like Hillary Clinton, he started out broke and then became one of the richest people in the country. … Jackson and his partners and cronies made early bids on Indian land, sometimes even before the Indians had been evacuated from that land. They acquired the land for little or nothing and later sold it for a handsome profit. Remarkably, the roots of the Clinton Foundation can be found in the land-stealing policies of America’s first Democratic president.”
During that time and on into the 20th century, the Democrats were the majority in the South (pro-slavery) and the Republicans (established when Abraham Lincoln ran for president). Today that has reversed – Democrats are primarily strong in the North and Republicans have majority primarily in the South.
Democrats protected their slavery ownership and started a civil war over it establishing the Confederate States of America. Oddly, 75% of those who were fighting for the Confederate had no slaves.
The Republican Party was established under the influence of abolitionists who wanted slavery to end. While Lincoln was adamantly against slavery, he was mainly concerned in preventing the division of the Republic. The gist of Lincoln's campaign in 1860 was preventing extension of slavery in the new territories and new states admitted to the Union.
The Republicans won and ended slavery permanently by passing the Thirteenth Amendment. Republicans also passed the Fourteenth Amendment that established African Americans (“Blacks”) equal rights and the Fifteenth Amendment that provided the right for them to vote – both of which the Democrats were vehemently opposed.
Democrats lost their slaves, but after the civil war they established segregation and Jim Crow laws that lasted through the 1960s. It is comical and ironic to hear a Democrat cry foul and insist that Republicans are reviving Jim Crow because they demand Voter ID be established to prevent non-citizens from voting and voting more than once.
The Ku Klux Klan was founded in 1866 by a group of former Confederate soldiers and its first grand wizard was a Confederate general and delegate to the Democratic National Convention. The Klan spread from the South to the Midwest and even part of the West becoming what historian Eric Foner called “the domestic terrorist arm of the Democratic Party”. Today two racist-Marxist organizations fit that bill that has caused chaos, loss of life, and destruction of private and public property – Antifa and Black Lives Matter (BLM) both being protected by mainstream Democratic-Socialist politicians and their media counterpart.
The corruption continues in the Planned Parenthood establishment, founded by a progressive racist – Margaret Sanger who supported eugenics and social Darwinism. A self-professed role model to Hillary Clinton. Sanger did not push abortion, but she believed that forced sterilization should be administered to “unfit” people and minorities, thereby reducing the Negro population.
In the 1920s under the leadership of Woodrow Wilson, Democrats began to admire and be fascinated concerning German and Italian fascism – national socialism and the concept of sterilization programs for the mentally defective and “unfit” people in society.
In the 1930s, FDR sent members of his administration to study fascist economic programs in Europe. FDR was impressed with Mussolini, referring to him as an “admirable Italian gentleman”. Notable members of society like Henry Ford and Charles Lindbergh were impressed with Hitler and what he had accomplished.
All of this has been hidden by the Democratic-Socialists who have infiltrated and taken control of our education system. From the class room to the talking heads of the Marxist Media, all of this is overlooked and history rewritten. Republicans (“conservatives”) are made to look like the corrupt and evil members of American society. Basically, anyone who disagrees with their ideology and agenda are either racist or corrupt or both.
Lyndon Johnson pushed the Civil Rights Act of 1964 with some backing of northern Democrats, but the vote of Republicans were a higher percentage. That was also the case for the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Republicans were also a majority in the women's suffrage movement as early as 1896. The first woman elected to Congress was a Republican (Jeanette Rankin) in 1916. That movement resulted in passing the Nineteenth Amendment in 1919, ratified by the states in 1920.
Shrewd LBJ when signing those Civil Rights bills stated that the Democratic Party would get the 'Black” vote for the “next 200 years”. Once again, the African American Democrats were hoodwinked, not realizing that the Democrats were placing African Americans ('Blacks') onto a new plantation as Star Parker wrote in her book Uncle Sam's Plantation, where generations ended up on the government's dole.
Today, “White Supremacy” is the battle cry of the Democratic-Socialists who are now using racism as their tool of pushing their Marxist agenda. Democrats cried foul and sought to protect communists and socialists during the 1950s purge headed by Senator Joe McCarthy of Wisconsin.
Meanwhile corruption that Democrats have professed to be the Republicans have piled up, but justice has not prevailed because the “Deep State” has infiltrated the Federal government deep enough to alleviate any convictions. That Deep State and its operatives became strengthened by the Obama administration and two terms of Barack Obama. Indeed, today Obama is hovering about in the background of the farce administration of Joe Biden.
