Does Anyone Know What Treason Is or Care?

The Merriam-Webster dictionary provides a definition for the word “TREASON” …

1 :  the betrayal of a trust :  treachery
2 :  the offense of attempting by overt acts to overthrow the government of the state to which the offender owes allegiance or to kill or personally injure the sovereign or the sovereign's family

The Oxford dictionary, which I usually use online, provides the following definition …

1[mass noun] The crime of betraying one's country, especially by attempting to kill or overthrow the sovereign or government:
‘they were convicted of treason’
1.1 The action of betraying someone or something:

‘doubt is the ultimate treason against faith’
1.2historical The crime of murdering someone to whom the murderer owed allegiance, such as a master or husband.

The Constitution of the United States requires testimony of two witnesses:

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court. The Congress shall have power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted.

Today, treason is not addressed as seriously as it once was, especially in colonial America. President Barack Hussein Obama has committed treason, but Congress, despite investigations has not acted because they are afraid to be tagged with the word “racist” and fear of riots by African Americans. It would not matter if it was presented with substantial evidence, which there appears to be enough of and there would be no help in the media's non-objective reporting.

Setting aside the lack of spine that Congress has shown, with the help of media manipulation and bias, too many Americans would not consider those actions committed by President Obama – even though he has openly defied the US Constitution.

The Constitution is clear about impeachment charges and its implementation:

The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other High Crimes and Misdemeanors.

William J. Clinton committed perjury via his testimony and in front of millions of a TV audience, as well as what could be considered “High Misdemeanors” in committing adultery and soliciting sex from a White House intern in a work place (Oval Office). Since the president's sperm had been found on a dress worn by the intern and residue of cocaine, the sex act was established as well as the use of a controlled narcotic that is a federal crime to abuse. It was not allowed to see if cocaine was present in the president's system or whether the cocaine was used by the intern only. The investigators would not go there. The problem is that the executive branch is headed by a president, and the FBI's boss is the president. It was clear from proceedings and testimony there was plenty to push for impeachment. But Congress did not perform its duty and that is a president that got away with criminal actions and “high misdemeanors”. Even John Kennedy had the conscious to not have an affair in the White House that is not just a work place but the president's temporary home.

Barack H. Obama is another who will get away with criminal, ethical and constitutional transgressions, and yes, clear acts of treason in regards to US foreign actions and events. Yet, Slate published an article bragging (lying) how he had few scandals, proving that it is a mouthpiece propaganda entity. 

If there is enough evidence, Hillary Rodham Clinton is also guilty of treason, if she made certain deals with foreign leadership as indicated by certain sources.

Americans use the word “treason” and accuse people for treason on the Internet social avenue, but it seems too often they do not comprehend just exactly what treason is. But what has been recognized by the public as “High” criminal actions by the president and his Cabinet/staff, there is no question that for too long the American people have not taken treason seriously enough and that constitutional law must be enforced if the republic conceived and orchestrated by the Founders will continue to exist.

Donald Trump is president because he has said what people want to hear – make America great again. After January 20^th, if Mr. Trump hasn't lost steam or truly thinks that letting Hillary go will “heal the nation”, and if his energy is as great when he operates his personal business deals – we are going to see some positive progress.

It's time to recognize serious infractions like treason as “We the People” and stop blowing it off as a misdemeanor. It is because the Sociocrats pounded into our heads so long that people don't have the right to judge others, unless they belong to a different political club than they do or unless the judged are those that don't play along with their political agenda. Logic and common sense must be revived. If the Founders relied upon just passion (emotion) and narrow-minded thinking, the United States would never have been created or last very long.

Donald Trump has the opportunity to live up to his promises and what he says he believes in. The American people have an opportunity to see to it that we reform ourselves, reeducate ourselves, so as to be better citizens and vote more responsibly. Character IS important. Association DOES reflect upon your own reputation. A unified family unit is beneficial to any society, any civilization. Immigrants should assimilate and not expect We the People (legal citizens) to change what we do or say or believe in order to make them happy. If they want to be Americans and go through the legal system to immigrate to live and work here – welcome. If you are here to make our system, language, constitutional government, and traditions into what you left, forget it. Because the valid question would be: WHY DID YOU LEAVE YOUR COUNTRY? 
  Islamic fascists declared war upon us and western civilization, but until leadership and citizens recognize that appeasement does not stop a 7th century barbaric ideology conditions will worsen.
