Weapons of Choice: Dan Wesson M1911 Valkyrie Commander

For those solid M1911 fans, there's the Dan Wesson Valkyrie.

It is a resurrection of the Colt introduced as the Commander M1911 in 1950 with a 4.25” barrel and an aluminum frame. Choice is between standard .45 ACP or 9mm Luger ammunition.

For conceal carry with the proper holster one can easily carry it under a untucked shirt or in a conceal-carry vest with inside pocket.
American Rifleman provided a range test and review for the pistol that has a MSRP of $2,012.
